Jol Cam lets event hosts create QR-based photo events. Guests scan the code and upload photos straight from their browser — no account needed.
What guests share
- Guests can upload photos without creating an account.
- Guests may provide their name so photos can be grouped by guest in the album.
- After using their shots, guests may optionally share a nickname, phone number, email address, and choose to opt in to the newsletter.
- All contact details are optional and only collected if the guest chooses to share them.
How photos are stored
- Guests upload photos to the host's event album.
- Photos are stored privately in the event host's account.
- Event hosts can view, download, and export photos from their own events.
- Deleted photos are hidden from the album straight away. They may be retained temporarily for safety and cleanup, and permanently removed later.
Hosting period
Free jols include 48 hours hosting after the event. Paid packages include 30 days hosting after the event. Hosts should download their album before hosting expires. During beta, retention rules may still change.
Data use
- We do not sell guest data.
- Newsletter opt-in is explicit and separate from using Jol Cam.
- Guest contact details are only used to keep them in the loop about the event or the newsletter they signed up for.
